This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect about you and why, what we may do with that information, and how we handle it. It applies to the Renvy mobile application and associated services (jointly and severally, the "Service"). By using the Service you agree to this Privacy Policy.

In Short

  • Your data is yours. Renvy values your privacy.
  • No AI Training: Your photos and designs are NOT used to train Google's global AI models.
  • Secure Processing: Your data is shared with Google Cloud solely for the purpose of generating your designs and is encrypted in transit and at rest.
  • We will never share your personal data with any third party for marketing purposes without your prior authorization.

What information do you collect about me?

  • User Content: Images you upload for processing ("Uploaded Images"). Generated designs are returned directly to your device and are not stored on our servers.
  • Metadata: Technical data associated with your request. We advise you to avoid including Personally Identifiable Information (PII) in your photos, such as faces of family members, license plates, or sensitive documents.
  • Account Information: If you sign in, we store your User ID and email provided by your authentication provider (Apple or Google).
  • Subscription Data:
    • If you subscribe via Apple App Store: We receive a receipt token to validate your purchase.
    • If you subscribe via Google Play: We receive a purchase token.
  • Usage Statistics: Aggregate, anonymous statistics (e.g., percentage of users using specific design styles) to improve the App.

How do you use my information?

  • To provide the Service: Generating interior and exterior design visualizations as requested.
  • To manage your account: Verifying subscriptions and enforcing usage quotas.
  • Safety & Compliance: Ensuring the App is not used to generate illegal or harmful content.

Do you use my photos to train AI?

No. We utilize the premium, paid version of the Google Gemini API. This means:

  • Your uploaded photos and resulting designs are treated as "Customer Data."
  • They are NOT used by us or Google to train or improve global AI models.
  • Your data remains your property and is only used to generate your requested designs.

Will you share my information?

We only share information necessary to provide the Service:

  • Google Cloud (Gemini API): Your images are sent to Google Cloud solely for real-time processing to generate the designs. This data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Our data processing with Google is governed by the Google Data Processing Addendum (GDPA) and standard contractual clauses.
  • RevenueCat: We use RevenueCat to manage subscription data.
  • Legal Compliance: We may disclose information if compelled by law.

By uploading an image, you provide explicit consent for that specific image to be transmitted to Google Cloud for processing as described above.

How long is my data kept?

  • Temporary Processing: Your data is stored temporarily to fulfill your requests.
  • Safety Logs: While we do not use your data for training, Google may retain logs for a limited period solely to detect safety policy violations (e.g., Child Safety or Hate Speech) or comply with legal obligations.
  • Account Deletion: You retain control. You may delete your account and all associated data at any time through the 'Settings' menu within the App.

Security

We use industry-standard encryption and security measures to protect your information. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.

Children's Privacy

The Service is not intended for users under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors.
